Harvest for all

The Harvest for All Program is a statewide effort to help feed the hungry in the state of Illinois. Through the help of Illinois Farm Bureau Young Leaders program, the top five FFA Chapters who contribute the most pounds of food, dollars donated, and hours volunteered will be recognized and awarded for their efforts to help fight hunger in our state. From food drives, to volunteering time, to raising money, no effort is too small to help those who are less fortunate.

To help increase donations, Illinois Farm Bureau Young Leaders will reward the FFA chapters that donate the most, money, food, and time:

  • 1 volunteer hour = 1 point
  • 10 pounds of food = 1 point
  • $10 donation = 1 point

For one school year (May-April), your chapter needs to keep track of your efforts and record them on the Harvest for All form distributed by Illinois Farm Bureau staff. The IFB Young Leaders will award the top five chapters with cash prizes:

  • 1st = $150
  • 2nd = $125
  • 3rd = $100
  • 4th = $75
  • 5th = $50

Applications are distributed by the FFA Center every spring.
